This precision cut and calibrated, finely faceted Cultured Opal can be fired in Place in Metal Clay with no color change even at high temperatures of 1650 ºF/ 900 º C. It has a refreshing mix of ocean tones. A soft blue and aqua green that shimmers like the play of light refraction on the water’s surface. Color shifts with each angle of light. These smaller 3 mm gem size are a bit more translucent in your hand, and bloom to full color set in your piece.
